Jeremy N. Gayed helps businesses pursue growth and solve problems through innovative legal services designed for the real world. He offers fractional general counsel services, business litigation with flexible fee structures, and intellectual property services—all designed to make best-in-class lawyering accessible and affordable for small- and medium-sized businesses.
Jeremy understands what business leaders need because he's been one. He served as the first chief legal officer and general counsel of Ambassador Enterprises, LLC, a permanent capital firm with over 3,000 employees, and later as CEO of a multi-business retail and manufacturing platform. He has also served on the boards of Correct Craft Holding Company, VIA Developments, and Ambassador Supply (now Defy).
Jeremy brings significant litigation and transactional experience to bear on his clients’ needs. As a litigation partner at Barrett McNagny, LLP, he built and led the firm's intellectual property department. Earlier in his career, he served as a federal law clerk for the Hon. William S. Duffey, Jr. in Atlanta and trained in high-stakes IP litigation at top-tier Chicago firm McAndrews, Held & Malloy. He is admitted to practice in numerous jurisdictions, including Indiana, Illinois, the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and the Supreme Court of the United States.
Jeremy graduated magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where he served as executive notes editor of the law review. He also holds degrees from Wheaton College and Fuller Theological Seminary. He and his wife Maija have five daughters and live in Huntington, where he grew up.
